How we measure prices
Borderbasket is a free price comparison for hotels, flights and streaming services. This page explains where the numbers come from.
Streaming prices
Every week we read the official pricing page of each streaming service in about 30 countries and take the cheapest regular monthly plan. We keep the local price and convert it to euros with the current exchange rate. Prices include the taxes the service shows. We do not collect prices from third-party sellers.
Hotel prices
For one hotel and your dates we read the total price on many booking sites and the hotel website, including taxes and fees, and sort from cheapest. Prices change during the day, so the final price on the booking site can differ.
Flight prices
We read Google Flights for the cheapest destinations from each airport and the cheapest return fare per departure week on popular routes (economy, per person). The booking button leads to a booking site, where the live price counts.
Trends
Popular destinations come from Google Trends (search interest, relative values, last 30 days).

Limits
A price on a pricing page is not an offer to subscribe from another country: most services tie an account to the country where you live and to a local payment method. Prices change; we show the date of each measurement.
