Frequently asked questions
Is the VPN really free?
Yes. Every free account gets 1 GB of VPN data per month. There is nothing to pay.
Which sites go through the VPN?
All websites you open over HTTPS, for example Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Spotify or Booking.com. Only Borderbasket itself, your local network and unencrypted http pages use your normal connection.
Can I watch films with it?
1 GB is enough for browsing, prices and sign-up pages, but not for hours of video. When the 1 GB is used up, the VPN stops until next month.
What do you store?
Only how much data your account used this month and which of the allowed sites it was. We do not store page contents.
