In short

In our data, the cheapest London stays rated 4.0 or higher start at about 43 to 52 euros a night for two guests (London Backpackers, Onefam Notting Hill Hostel London, YHA London Thameside).

London is expensive, and the hotel bill is usually the biggest part of it. But the city also gives away some of its greatest treasures: the British Museum, the National Gallery, Tate Modern and the museums of South Kensington cost nothing to enter. Add a contactless card that caps your daily travel costs and a hostel or a weekend room in the City, and London becomes affordable. In our data, well-rated beds start at about 43 euros a night.
